A few easy things anyone can do to try and have a better day. I take my car to an auto wash not far from where I live. They have a menu of different washes they offer. The one I like is called the basis plus. This wash now costs $15.00 per wash. One wash a week for fifty weeks would cost $750.00 per year. They now offer a yearly plan. The yearly plan runs $25.99 per month. Total cost for a year $311.88. You can wash your car every day of the week for a total
cost of just over $300.00.
Here is one example. One wash per week for fifty weeks {allowing for some days closed} would cost $750.00 per year. Buy the yearly package for $311.88 and you have saved $438.12 and could have had many more car washes.
A second example which might be a little extreme but possible. You do not buy the plan. You wash your car fifty times a year at $15.00 per wash and do this for five years. You would spend $3750.00 in five years. Yearly plain for five years would cost $1560.00. This would be a savings of $2,190.00 in cash and you could have all the washes you wanted.
You would feel better driving a clean car. People will admire your car and think more of you. This could lead to new friendships and opportunities You should be having a good day.
Keep your shoes clean, Polish leather shoes as often as you like. This is not expensive. You will probably just need some brown and black shoe polish. Some soft rags and the appropriate brush for buffing shoes.
Today many people wear some type of casual or athletic shoe. These should also be kept clean. Some can be put in the washing machine. There are some cleaning products that work especially around the soles. Sometimes a soft rag and warm water with soap will serve the purpose. Buy some new shoe - laces once in a while especially for white laces.
Just like a clean car, if you keep your shoes looking good you feel better about yourself. People will notice and good things might come your way.
Here's something that will cost you nothing. Put a smile on your face. When you approach someone in a store, restaurant, maybe the doctor or dentist office just about any place. Just say hello and greet them with a smile on your face. You might be surprised how much more pleasant and respectful you will find that person.
Remember, leave your house with a smile on your face a shine on your shoes and drive off in a sparkling clean car and you are increasing the possibility of life offering new opportunities and friendships. Feel good about yourself and have a nice day.
