The Pontiac automobile was first introduced in 1926 and became part of the General Motors line up of cars. General Motors then had five divisions. Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Chevrolet. Shelley Fabares passed away recently at the age of eighty-two. Shelley had a long successful career. She is probably best remembered for being one of the stars of the Donna Reed show when she was a young person. The show was on for five seasons. The Tigers had a little bit of a tough week. They lost four out of six games this past week. They lost three in a row to the league leading Chicago White Sox in Detroit. In 1953 we moved into our new house located at the far corner of northwest Detroit. This was a new area actually still partially surrounded by woods.
