Shelley Fabares passed away recently at the age of eighty-two. Shelley had a long successful career. She is probably best remembered for being one of the stars of the Donna Reed show when she was a young person. The show was on for five seasons. Later she had a starring role in another popular T.V. show Coach which was on for nine seasons. The Tigers had a little bit of a tough week. They lost four out of six games this past week. They lost three in a row to the league leading Chicago White Sox in Detroit. The Tigers played pretty well but The White Sox are a very good team. The Detroit team finished the week in second place 5.5 games behind the Sox. The Tigers lost 5 out there last 7 games. It was not a good week. They started the week by losing 2 out of 3 to the New York Yankees.
