MONDAY MORNING DETROIT TIGER TALK BY RON TURETT

The Tigers had a little bit of a tough week. They lost four out of six games this past week. They lost three in a row to the league leading Chicago White Sox in Detroit. The Tigers played pretty well but The White Sox are a very good team. The Detroit team finished the week in second place 5.5 games behind the Sox.

Detroit has a record of sixty wins and sixty-four loses with thirty-eight games left in the regular season. Looks like the Tigers will be fighting for a wild card spot. They have won five out of there last ten games.

This week they are heading to Pittsburg for three games with the Pirates. Two games at night and one day game. Then it will be on to three more games against the Royals. Two at night and one afternoon game.

Detroit's star catcher Dillion Dingler has been in a hitting slump. Hopefully he will start hitting again. Anything can happen! Keep supporting the Tiger team and have a good week.
