I'M THINKING ABOUT TIME

Time seems to move much slower when you are young. School days seemed long. Minutes seemed like hours. Two and half months of summer vacation seemed like forever.
When you grow older time seems to move much faster. Why does this happen? There are a number of theories. One theory suggests that as a person grows older and establishes a routine of day to day experiences and things become more and more familiar the faster time seems to go. Familiarity increases with age making it appear that time is moving faster.
Another theory says that as a person gets older each year becomes a smaller percentage of their life which also gives the feeling that time is moving faster.
Some feel that the body and brains chemistry changes as one grows older which may give the perception that time is moving faster.
There are a number of other theories, however most people agree that time seems to move faster as they grow older. The reality is that whatever the reason most people have a sense of time moving faster as they age. Remember perception is reality!
Remember: Time is precious. Value your time. Time waits for no one. Don't waste your time.
HAVE A GOOD TIME!
Finally, what about this daylight savings time? This an idea that started in the 1890's. Someone decided this would save fuel and people would enjoy an extra hour of sunlight certain times of the year. The clocks are moved ahead one hour in the spring and moved back an hour in the fall. Surveys show that most people find the time change annoying. People don't seem to care about the benefits of time change and would like to see it end. It would take an act of congress to make that change. Congress says they would be interested in looking into this change but never seem to get around to it because they can't find the time.
