A new book is out called "Love Johnny Carson". This book was written by Mark Malkoff with David Ritz. Mark Malkoff describes his book as "one obsessive fan's journey to find the genius behind the legend".

You may have been a fan of Johnny Carson, or may be too young to even remember him but have an interest in who he really was this four-hundred page book will tell you almost every detail of his entire life.

When you have completed this book, you should understand why the "Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" was the number one show on late night television for thirty years.

The last show was May 22,1992 well over thirty years ago. Johnny passed away January 23,2005 over twenty years ago. There have been a number of late-night shows since that time. Some have been good some may not have been that good. Yet, at the end of the day decades after the show ended and Johnny's death when people talk about late night television they talk about Johnny Carson.

This new book will give the reader a lot of insight into who Johnny Carson was and why he is still called the "king of late-night television".

"Epic" Elvis Presley in concert is a documentary film directed by Baz Luhrmann.

This film has never before seen footage of Elvis. In this film Elvis is telling his own story through candid conversations and great performances.

The film takes you back to some his earliest performances in the 1950's. A lot of this documentary is made up of films of his many performances in Las Vegas in the late 1960's through the mid 70's

In addition, there are films of him when he was in the Army. Many, backstage casual conversations with friends and other celebrities who came to visit him in Vegas.

You got to see Elvis up close. Not only was he a great performer but a guy with a sense of humor and very good personality. He was very charismatic. He worked very hard to put on a great show every time he performed. He emphasized the importance of this to all the people who were part of his shows.

Most of all this film highlights some his best performances, great songs, and colorful wardrobe.

Again, as with Johnny Carson if you were an Elvis fan or too young to actually remember him this film gives you a great opportunity to learn about Elvis, see a number of his performances and hear his music. You will see why they still call Elvis Presley the "king of rock and roll".

Johnny Carson, Elvis Presley interesting people. Great performers. Read this book. See the film you will find out why they are still remembered as kings in the world of entertainment.
