THE DETROIT TIGERS HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!

The Tigers swept the Chicago White Sox winning three games in a row over the weekend. Friday's score was Detroit 4 Chicago 3. Saturday the Tigers won 4 to 1. Sunday was a thriller with the Tiger's coming from behind and beating the White Sox 5 to 4 in ten innings. The Tiger's bats came alive with 9 hits on Sunday.

The Detroit team's record is now 33 wins and 44 losses. Winning per centage is 429. They are now 7 1/2 games behind the first place Cleveland Guardians in the American League's Central Division.

Rumors are the Tiger's might be interested in trading star pitcher Tarik Skubal to a team looking for a very good pitcher. This trade would require a team willing to give up players who could help Detroit where they need help badly.

The Tiger's have a big week coming up. The New York Yankees will be in Detroit for three games Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. These games are scheduled to be at night.

The Houston Astros will be in town for four games. These games are scheduled for Thursday and Friday night and Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

This is a big week for the Tiger's!
